Still-True Lines
A still-true sheet puts the check day at the top, then splits into two columns.
The left column holds sentences that still held on the check day. The right column holds sentences that had already closed before that day. Neither column adds a figure that is not in the record. Closed does not mean the history is erased. It means a reader should not treat that sentence as the current statement. This page does not predict how the next sentence will be rewritten.
Write the check day first.
Separate what still holds from what has closed.
Do not invent figures.
Do not predict the next sentence.
