Bow Lines
A bow line is the first line written for one named reader. It is not a slogan for everyone.
Each bow line names the reader, states the sentence, and records the day it was set down. If the reader is not named, the sheet does not stand. A bow line does not promise a reply, and it does not turn one sentence into a contract. When several mark sheets need to sit together, use a sewn quire. Do not stretch a bow line into a list.
The reader must be named.
A writing day is required.
Not a slogan.
Not a contract.
